Soleheaven Puma Clyde

Almost a week of my life went into painting these Clydes for www.soleheaven.com and their custom feature section. The base shoe was all white nubuck, and they were first coated in the darkest green in the pattern.

After that the polygon pattern was slowly built up from there, shape by shape. There's no corner cutting, short cuts or cheats to be had, you just have to focus, paint super sharp and keep your mind on the puzzle that this pattern is made from...

These certainly rank as the most labour intensive work I have ever made on a shoe, and are completed with brown leather insoles featuring a screen printed Rob-L logo.
