Puma Rookie Clyde

The Puma Rookie Clyde is based on the AW08 Clyde Lux. It's a beautifully crafted base-shoe, made from really nice smooth leather, so I had to do something special. This particular piece was a commission for a guy by the name of 'Rookie'.

First up, an all-over anthracite grey archipelago pattern is applied with a brush over the stripped black base - another two days of my life spent hunching and squinting! Custom designed and screen-printed 'Rookie' lace-locks are made from soft black leather, and the pair is finished with a custom gold-leaf Puma logo on the side.
